The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act is a federal law designed to promote transparency around campus crime and statistics. It mandates that colleges that receive federal funding disclose information about crime and statistics on and around their campuses along with policy statements including (but not limited to) crime reporting, crime prevention and awareness programs, substance abuse, sensitive crimes, emergency notifications, and other important information about security and services on campus.
The Annual Security Report (ASR) contains three years of statistics on campus-related crimes. A hard copy of the report may be obtained by contacting Campus Safety at 1001 Rogers Street, Columbia, MO 65216, (573) 875-7315.
