COVID Guidelines

Updated COVID-19 Recommendations for Main Campus

Dear students, faculty and staff,

As we remain focused on maintaining the well-being of the college community, the Wellness Center would like to provide updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding COVID-19.

In response to the updated recommendations, the Wellness Center will reflect these revisions and encourage students to take prevention steps and guidance to aid against any illnesses. These changes are designed to align with the best practices defined by the CDC.

Key changes to our recommendations:

  • Day students, faculty and staff who test positive for COVID-19 are suggested to return to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, symptoms are improving overall and they are fever-free without taking fever-reducing medication.
  • Day students are not required to contact the Wellness Center or COVID Reporting email after testing positive for COVID-19.
  • Day students must work with faculty for missing classes after testing positive, as the Wellness Center will no longer provide documentation for missed class due to COVID-19.
  • Faculty and staff are not required to contact Human Resources or COVID Reporting email after testing positive for COVID-19.
Students and campus members are encouraged to stay current on COVID-19, flu and RSV vaccines. If you are feeling under the weather, check your symptoms related to COVID-19.
