Teacher Certification Program Overview

Begin your journey to become a certified teacher in Missouri through the Teacher Certification Program (TCP) at Columbia College. The path to certification starts once you complete the core courses.

Admission to our TCP is required for official certification recommendations to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). TCP Admission forms and uploads are in ELC (Experiential Learning Cloud) and will be available to you early in your Education Certification program. Contact the Education office (educatorprep@ccis.edu) if you do not have access to the TCP Admission assignments in ELC.
