Register for classes
Registration allows you to select your courses for the upcoming term.
Students must have full financial aid, be paid in full or set up a payment plan in order to register.
Meet with an advisor
Traditional students are required to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes. To make an appointment, click the “Email My Advisor” link in the Academics section of CougarTrack. New students should contact their admissions counselor at email@example.com.
Students studying in the evening in Columbia, MO, are encouraged to meet with an advisor before registering. Make an appointment by calling (573) 875-7610 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students studying at a learning venue outside of Columbia, MO, are also encouraged to meet with an advisor before registering.
Students studying online are encouraged to contact their advisor electronically prior to registration.
How to register
Register through CougarTrack
All students may register for classes through CougarTrack by selecting the “Register and Manage Classes” link in the Self Service Student Planner. The planner also allows you to plan all of the courses you need to complete your degree, and request that your advisor review your plan.
Register in person
Students may register for classes in person at the Enrollment Service Center, Missouri Hall Room 205, on campus in Columbia, MO. The center is open 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday.
Register by proxy
If students are not able to register through CougarTrack or in person, they may send a proxy to register in person on their behalf at the Enrollment Service Center during open hours. Students who need to send someone else to register in person must complete the Registration Proxy Form.
