Proctored exams add validity to online coursework and are required for some online courses.
A proctor administers an exam for a Columbia College student. Proctors verify the student's identity by checking a photo ID and ensure academic honesty during the exam.
You have two options to take a proctored exam.
- Take it at the Columbia College campus or a Columbia College venue nationwide. If using a Columbia College venue, reserve your seat and notify your instructor as outlined for your course.
- Use Integrity Advocate. There is no cost for the use of Integrity Advocate, but a webcam/mic and current Chrome or Edge browser are required. Visit the CC Integrity Advocate Online Proctoring Center for more information or to try out the software.
