The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. in the Bob Jones Auditorium at the Sparkman Center in Redstone Arsenal.
Dr. William Carner, associate dean for Graduate Studies, will give the commencement address. Mike Randerson, vice president for Adult Higher Education, will confer the degrees.
“Our graduates have succeeded in balancing their numerous responsibilities with their career goals," said Randerson. "Graduation is the culmination of their efforts and the result of wanting to improve their lives. We are proud to honor their accomplishments."
Columbia College was founded in Missouri in 1851 as Christian Female College, the first women’s college west of the Mississippi River to be chartered by a state legislature. The college changed its name to Columbia College in 1970 when it became coeducational.
The Redstone Arsenal campus was established in 1975 to serve the military population and their families on the base and in surrounding communities. Today, the college continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the area.
Columbia College provides accredited, affordable degrees to working adults, including military students, and educates 25,000 students worldwide.
