How can I be sure I'm using the right wireless network?

Windows 7

  1. Click the Windows Start button in the bottom left hand corner of the desktop.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. The Control Panel opens. Double-click Network and Sharing Center.
  4. Click Connect to a Network.  The Wireless Network Connection box opens.
  5. Click to highlight CougarNet.
  6. Click Connect
  7. Enter the network security key.

Windows 10

  1. Click the Windows Start button in the bottom left hand corner of the desktop.

  5. Click to highlight CougarNet.
  6. Click Connect.
  7. Enter the network security key.

How can I obtain the network security key?

The network security key is required to be entered one time for all devices connecting to the CougarNet or ccResnet wireless networks. The key is located in CougarTrack on the Technology Solutions Center page under Help - Technology Solutions Center.
