Education and Prevention Programs
Because the College recognizes that the prevention of sexual misconduct is important, it offers educational programming on an annual and ongoing basis to a variety of groups such as: campus personnel; incoming students and new employees participating in orientation; and members of athletic teams and other student organizations. Among other elements, such training covers relevant definitions, procedures, and sanctions; how to make a complaint; the identities and roles of the Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Title IX Coordinator(s), confidential advisors, and other resources; safe and positive options for bystander intervention; and risk reduction information, including recognizing warning signs of abusive behavior and how to avoid potential attacks.
For a list of specific programs offered, please see the College's Annual Security Report. The College will continue to assess efforts being utilized to educate students and employees about responsible and appropriate behavior as well as the resources and support provided for victims.
