Recreation and entertainment opportunities abound with sites like Union Station, the former St. Louis' train terminal featuring hotel and specialty shops; Cardinals baseball, Rams football, and Blues hockey teams; the Gateway Arch; Forest Park, the largest urban park in the United States, featuring the Saint Louis Art Museum, Saint Louis Zoo, St. Louis Science Center, and Missouri History Museum, and cultural venues including The Saint Louis Symphony and Fox Theater.

Columbia College-St. Louis is easily accessible from several major highways and is only one minute from Lambert St. Louis International Airport and MetroLink light rail linking downtown, Clayton, Shrewsbury, and Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
