Military spouse grants and scholarships
Columbia College is a military-friendly school; this attribute applies to the military spouse as well as the service member. Columbia College offers several scholarships and grants for military spouses and dependents.
Spouses Opportunity Grant
Award amount is tuition for one in-seat or one online course, awarded to spouses of military members currently serving on active duty or in the Guard and Reserves. The student must be seeking his or her first undergraduate degree and be enrolled in his or her first course at Columbia College. More info
Military Family Member's Opportunity Grant
Award amount is tuition for one in-seat course, awarded to family members (dependents) of military members currently serving on active duty or in the Guard and Reserves. The student must be seeking his or her first undergraduate degree and be enrolled in his or her first course at Columbia College. More info
Military Spouse Tuition Grant
Twenty percent tuition discount is given for undergraduate in-seat courses to spouses of military members currently serving on active duty or of members of the Guard and Reserves. More info
MyCAA
MyCAA offers Department of Defense (DoD) funds to help pay for licenses, certification and associate degrees in high-growth, high-demand portable career fields. More info
Coast Guard Spouse Grant
Mirrors the MyCAA program. Award amount is 50 percent tuition grant for in-seat or online undergraduate courses, with a maximum award amount of $4000. More info
Two-in-Family Grant
Award is $75 per session and applies when two or more immediate family members (spouse, mother, father, daughter, son, brother or sister) are enrolled in six credit hours each. More info
