Sarah Parris received her B.F.A. in Creative Writing from Stephens College in 2015 and her M.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing MSU in 2020. Her areas of academic interest include genre fiction with a particular focus on fantasy, narrative theory, and gender & queer studies. In addition to teaching, Sarah also works as a tutor in the Seabrook Writing Center.
In her spare time, she is an avid reader and gamer. She plays Dungeons & Dragons weekly, and can often be found replaying the Dragon Age saga. She enjoys spending time with her cats and attending the Farmer’s Market with her wife, who owns and manages a home bakery.
