Kristen LaChance received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Southwest Baptist University/Mercy College of Nursing and Health Science in 2015. She finished her B.S. in Nursing from the Sinclair School of Nursing at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2020 and continued on to get her Masters of Science in Nursing, also from the University of Missouri in 2023. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Leadership and Health Innovations through the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Kristen began her nursing career on the Progressive Care Unit at the University Hospital. After three years of experience, she decided to change directions and moved to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Working with babies is her bedside passion.
Kristen began her career in nursing education working part time as a nursing clinical instructor for Columbia College in 2020. In early 2021, she accepted a full-time clinical instructor, also with Columbia College. Fall of 2023, she moved into a faculty position with Columbia College. She teaches Medical Surgical nursing and Mental Health nursing.
Kristen resides in Moberly, MO with her husband and two children. In her free time, she likes to snuggle with her babies, read, and make hair bows for her little girl.
