Jill Myers initially received a Licensed Practical Nursing certificate (LPN, 1997). She received an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN, 2002) from Moberly Area Community College. In 2009 she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Missouri. Jill also received her Masters of Science in Nursing Education (MSN, 2014) also from the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing.
Jill has over 25 years of nursing experience. Nineteen of those years were in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Boone Hospital Center. In the MICU Jill cared for many critically ill patients with a variety of diagnosis’. She also has experience in medical-surgical and emergency department nursing.
Jill’s teaching experience began at Columbia College in 2008 as a part-time clinical instructor. She has worked with many nursing students in the clinical as well as the lab setting during her employment at Columbia College. She was also the ICU and Step-Down nurse educator for Boone Hospital for two years.
