Blake Nielsen joined the faculty at Columbia College in 2017 and is responsible for teaching Psychology Courses within the Psychology, Sociology, and Human Services Department. He received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.A. and Ph.D. in experimental psychology from The University of Alabama.
Trained as a developmental psychologist, Dr. Nielsen enjoys teaching developmental, social, special topics, and research courses at Columbia College. Dr. Nielsen particularly enjoys mentoring undergraduate students with their own research projects and then traveling with them to professional conferences to present their work.
