CC Summer of Business Camp

Strengthen your leadership skills and learn about vision setting and culture building from current and former leaders in the Mid-Missouri area.
Voices of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Money
Learn from leaders in business, see what it takes to be an entrepreneur and explore how the stock market works during Columbia College’s Summer of Business Camp. Campers may attend one or all three sessions each day.
Grade Levels: 6th - 12th
Price: $125 for one session or $300 for three
Dates: July 13 – 17, 2026
Registration Deadline: June 29, 2026
Campers will have the option of being a commuter each day during that week or staying overnight in the dorms for an additional fee.
Voices of Money: 9 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. (Campers can be dropped off at 8:30 a.m.; breakfast is included)
Explore how the stock market works and learn from successful stock brokers and financial advisors. Campers will have the opportunity to be part of a stock market simulation where they’re given fake money to invest and learn from experts how to buy, sell and make money.
Voices of Leadership: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. (Lunch in the cafeteria at Columbia College is included)
Hear from current and former successful leaders in the Mid-Missouri area about the challenges and victories they’ve faced. Each day, you’ll spend time with leaders who will take you through their journey to where they are today and talk with you about how they set a vision, built relationships and culture, and made tough decisions.
Voices of Entrepreneurship 2:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. (Snack is included; campers can be picked up at 4:30 p.m.)
Explore what it takes to start and run a successful business. Campers will meet local entrepreneurs, visit their businesses and gain hands-on experience with product development, brainstorming new ideas and how to pitch a business plan to investors. Each camper will leave with practical skills and mentorship connections.
