Columbia College-Kansas City begins operation in new location

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.)-Columbia College-Kansas City has recently moved into a 4,713-square-foot facility located in Suite 400 of the Blue Ridge Tower, 4240 Blue Ridge Blvd.

In addition to classrooms, the space includes academic and administrative offices, a computer lab, testing center, faculty preparation room, student lounge and vending area.

"We are pleased to begin serving students from our new facility," said Bob Jones, campus director. "The new location, additional classroom space and enhanced technology allow us to better meet the higher education needs of Kansas City students."

Columbia College-Kansas City offers eight-week on-campus and online classes. The accelerated format is ideal for working adults who balance work, family and school commitments. Students can pursue associate and bachelor's degrees in business administration, criminal justice administration, fire service administration, history, interdisciplinary studies, psychology, sociology and American studies.

Columbia College-Kansas City was established in 1988 in Blue Springs. Today, it continues to serve working adults and military students in the Kansas City area.

Columbia College serves nearly 25,000 students each year at its Day Campus, Online Campus, Graduate Studies Program and 32 Nationwide Campuses.
