The EAP faculty and staff are caring, highly-qualified, experienced and committed to helping students adjust to living and studying in the U.S. Because most of us have lived, worked or studied abroad, we are sensitive to the personal and academic needs of students, and many of us often speak at least one additional language. We are prepared and eager to help students achieve their learning goals.
All EAP faculty hold advanced degrees in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), linguistics or a related discipline. The faculty are engaged in the field, participating in conferences and collaborative projects, publishing articles and networking with colleagues here and abroad. Using a variety of teaching methods and technologies, EAP classes are student-centered, upbeat and rigorous.
