You’ll learn various skills designed to give you a well-rounded understanding of personal finance, including:

The capstone course will go a step further, applying your knowledge in a practical case study format that reflects real-world situations.

Students will need to complete a minimum of nine semester hours with Columbia College, earning at least a C grade in all courses. A basic understanding of accounting is also essential to ensure your success in this certificate program - Accounting 281 or equivalent is a prerequisite for most courses in this certificate.
