Dr. Clayton Clark received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN, 2008), a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, 2012), and a Graduate Certificate in Health Ethics (2015) from the University of Missouri. He earned a PhD in Nursing from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2021.

Clayton has experience in medical surgical, mental health, and nursing ethics specialties. He continues to practice as a Clinical Ethicist as part of the MU Center for Health Ethics. His research interests focus on spiritual coping for both patients and caregivers during chronic, life-threating, and terminal cardiac illness.
