After a 35+ year career in business Michael Cross is excited to bring that experience to the classroom on a full-time basis. He has held management roles - project manager, program manager, manager, senior manager, director - for more than 20 years. He has worked in several industries, including health insurance, financial services, technology services, management consulting and manufacturing. Michael has spent time overseas on business in Poland, China, Brazil and Canada, and has managed or worked on teams with people from six continents.
Michael earned a BS degree in public administration from Harding University and an MBA with emphasis in management from Jacksonville University. He has been a member of the Project Management Institute and certified as a Project Management Professional since 2001.
Michael and his wife, Pam, have been married for more than 35 years. They have two daughters and two sons-in-law, all of whom are college professors.
Michael and Pam are avid readers and love to haunt used book stores for that elusive book to complete a favorite series. They are avid fans of the Chicago Cubs, enjoy traveling, but highest on their list is spending time with their two grandsons.
