Two campuses celebrate milestone anniversaries

Two campuses celebrate milestone anniversaries Patrick Air Force Base, FL, turns 15; Crystal Lake, IL, turns 25.

This April, two Columbia College campuses will see milestone anniversaries. The Patrick Air Force Base campus celebrates 15 years, and the Crystal Lake campus celebrates 25 years!

Columbia College-Patrick Air Force Base in Florida was established in 1999 to be an integral part of Patrick Air Force Base 45th Mission Support Group's educational plan.

Established at McHenry County College in 1989, Columbia College-Crystal Lake moved to the University Center near downtown Crystal Lake, Ill., in 2000. Eight years later, in 2008, the campus relocated to its current home at 446 N. Rte. 31.

Theses campuses are two of the 34 Nationwide Campuses created by the Division of Adult Higher Education (AHE), which recently celebrated 40 years educating adults across the country.

Patrick Air Force Base will celebrate with a reception April 2 at 10:30 a.m.; Crystal Lake will celebrate April 22 at 4 p.m.
