The Truition® Textbook Program covers the following types of courses:
No action is needed to obtain the books required for these courses. Columbia College will order your books approximately two weeks prior to the start of each session, or as soon as you register thereafter.
If a course uses physical materials, those materials will be sent to the Shipping Address shown on your User Profile. If you drop a class, you are responsible for returning any physical course materials that were shipped to you. To do so, please visit Ingram Returns to generate a pre-paid return label. Materials from dropped courses must be returned within 30-days of receipt.
If a course uses an eText, the book will be available directly in Desire2Learn (D2L) one week before classes begin, or one day after your subsequent registration is processed. eTexts must first be accessed through D2L before they will be available from the VitalSource apps on your computer or mobile device.
For information on optional and recommended course materials that might be available for purchase, please consult your course syllabi. Optional eTexts are available for purchase directly from VitalSource.com.
If you have problems accessing or using the VitalSource eText reader, please contact VitalSource at firstname.lastname@example.org, (855) 200-4146.
