Girls Who Game

Girls who attend will have the opportunity to build gaming skills and learn the basics of video game programming.

Play video games with like-minded girls in a safe, supportive environment. This event is ideal for middle school and high school girls who love playing video games. Any girls interested in learning more about competitive eSports and participating in gaming activities are welcome to attend! No prior experience with any particular game is required.

Event details

Interested girls entering 6th - 12th grade this fall are encouraged to apply. This event is free of charge. Registrants can attend in-person or virtually.

When registration is full, a waiting list will be created.

If you prefer to participate virtually, your computer will need the following:

  • Standard WASD keyboard (touchscreen only will not work)
  • Latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari
  • Headphones and microphone duo (audio jack plug-in, USB plug-in or Bluetooth)
  • High-speed internet connection
  • Software (all available via free downloads):
