Transfer Credits
If you've taken college classes before, get credit where credit's due. Official transcripts from all previous institutions must be submitted within 90 days of enrollment. Official transcripts should be sent to evaltrans@ccis.edu or 1001 Rogers Street, Columbia, MO 65216.

How do HCC employees confirm their eligibility for the discount?
After admission, employment must be verified by submitting the Business Partnership or Academic Alliance Form.
What should transfer students with 60 or more credit hours know?
After admission, log into myPortal and complete the HCC Anniversary Discount Form and other required forms. Students with an associate degree or 60 credit hours may also be considered for the Associate Degree Transfer Grant by completing the Application for Institutional Aid in myPortal. The Financial Aid team will determine final eligibility.
What should transfer students with fewer than 60 credit hours do?
After admission, log into myPortal and complete the HCC Anniversary Discount Form and other required forms.
Does the discount apply to Nursing courses?
It applies to RN to BSN classes online but does not apply to in-seat nursing classes.
What support is available to me if I pursue a degree at CC?
You will receive the same support as CC students. Local advising support is also available on the HCC campus.
Will I qualify if I only took lifelong learning courses at HCC?
No. Only credit-bearing coursework qualifies.
