Students may enroll without seeking a degree

Students may enroll in graduate-level courses without pursing a master's degree.

Non-degree seeking students must hold a baccalaureate degree. Students may complete a maximum of 12 credit hours of graduate-level coursework. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid.

Non-degree application requirements vary among programs.

Master of Business Administration MBA non-degree

Non-degree seeking students must complete steps 1-4 of the application for admission for a first-time graduate student. Applicants must complete all prerequisite coursework and have a minimum 3.0 undergraduate cumulative grade point average and authenticate their identity.

Master of Criminal Justice MSCJ non-degree

Non-degree seeking students must submit a completed application for graduate admission. Applicants must also submit transcripts from all degree-granting institutions and authenticate their identity.

Master of Arts in Teaching MAT non-degree

Non-degree seeking students should complete an application for graduate admission. Students must also submit an official transcript from the institution granting their bachelor's or master's degree.

Individuals who have a master's degree are not subject to the 12-hour limit.

Master of Education M.Ed. non-degree

Those applying as non-degree seeking students should complete an application for graduate admission and proof of teacher certification. Students must also submit an official transcript from the institution granting their bachelor's or master's degree and authenticate their identity.
