Financial Advantages
Qualify for the exclusive Honors Scholarship; access priority registration; and enroll in up to 21 credit hours per semester without paying any course overload fee.
Expanded Experiences
Apply Education Abroad credits and internship experiences towards earning an Honors minor, providing a unique opportunity to combine practical experience with academic learning.
Admission Criteria
After being admitted to Columbia College, students must meet the following criteria for acceptance to the Honors Program:

Students who do not meet the minimum requirements may submit a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor. |
Transfer students will be sent an application for the Honors Program after transcripts and test scores have been evaluated. The application includes a short essay. |
Students must be admitted to the program before registering for Honors classes and enjoying the program’s benefits.
