If you’ve taken classes from an accredited college in the past or served in the military, you may be able to transfer that credit here. We award up to 90 hours of transfer credits.

Transfer what you already know.

Apply what you already know toward a degree or certificate. You can receive credit for CLEP tests, courses you’ve completed at other regionally accredited colleges and military training. This saves you time and money on your degree.

We’ll provide an unofficial review of your transcripts before you apply, so you’ll know exactly what you need to finish your program.

We offer eight-week classes that start six times a year, providing a quick and flexible path to your degree or certificate. Classes are offered online or in seat at more than 30 locations nationwide.

Applying should be the easiest part of college. Just follow these steps.

  1. Apply

    Complete the free online application. Applying shouldn't take more than 30 minutes.

  2. Admissions process

    Authenticate your identity online or in person at a venue near you. Provide proof of High School completion.

  3. Partner verification (employees only)

    Upon Admission, you will receive an email containing simple instructions to verify your affiliation with our partnered organization.

  4. Transfer evaluation

    Official transcripts from all previous institutions must be submitted within 90 days of enrollment. Official transcripts should be sent to EvalTrans@CCIS.edu or 1001 Rogers Street, Columbia, MO 65216.

  5. Student benefits

    Employees, spouses, and dependents benefit – 15% tuition discount on graduate and undergraduate evening and online courses.

    Associate Degree Graduates - Graduates of partner schools transferring directly to Columbia College receive a 10% Tuition Grant to evening and online courses. Note: Tuition discounts can be combined if employees are direct transfers upon earning an Associate's Degree from a partner school.
