Why did you choose Columbia College?
Columbia was recommended to me by a fellow soldier while I was assigned to a unit in Los Alamitos, CA. After attending my first two classes at the Los Alamitos campus, I that this would be the school that I would get my associate, bachelors, and masters degrees from. All of the Columbia College instructors have been exemplary. I learned a lot from them and I enjoyed every class that I was in.
What are your plans for the future?
My MBA will help me achieve my goal of obtaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army. The Army wants its officers to continue there civilian education. As officers, we are expected to work on masters degree by the time we are promoted to Captain. Because I have completed my MBA program, more opportunities will exist for me to take on addition military course that will enhance my level of expertise in management and leadership (not to mention increase my present and future marketability).
What was your favorite course, and why?
Wow! Tough question! I have to say that all of the course I have enjoyed. I can't really pick a favorite. However, if I had one course that I say was the most challenging, yet satisfying, there were three: Managerial Economics, Business Law, and Strategic Management. These courses provided tons of information as well. The challenge was to learn as much of it as you can while showing how much you;ve learned in your projects.
