Offered Fall and Spring (first eight weeks).

 
Course Objectives
  • To provide the student with an introduction to the basics of cardio-respiratory fitness and encourage lifelong fitness.
  • To develop basic skills and terminology related to cardio-respiratory fitness.
 
Measurable Learning Outcomes:
  • Demonstrate the appropriate way to determine the safe heart rate range for cardio-respiratory fitness.
  • Perform pre- and post-cardio-respiratory fitness assessments.
