  • To understand the features, components and services of the U.S. healthcare system and how they interact with one another.
  • To understand the constraints and opportunities of stakeholders in the healthcare system.
  • To understand how the U.S. healthcare system is organized, managed and financed.
  • To understand the characteristics and issues of healthcare delivery with respect to organizations, institutions, government and individuals.
