State of Missouri employees and retirees receive a 10 percent tuition discount
State of Missouri employees – whether behind the scenes, or out in front – are the people that Missourians turn to for help and assistance every day. Missouri state employees are hardworking people who have chosen public service as a profession because it allows them to continue to serve the people of our fine state.
Columbia College has been helping students advance their lives through higher education for more than 160 years, and is proud to offer a 10 percent tuition discount to State of Missouri employees and retirees.
- 10 percent tuition discount applies to all undergraduate or graduate courses online or in-seat at Columbia College. The discount cannot be retroactively applied. Partner discount cannot be combined with any other institutional aid.
Your tuition discount
Our tuition rates are about half the national average for private schools. As a state of Missouri employee or retiree, you qualify for a 10 percent discount on all in-class and online courses. Our tuition rates vary by location but here’s an example of the savings you could receive on online courses.
Undergraduate online tuition
Columbia College standard rate: $305 per credit hour
state of Missouri discount rate $274.50 per credit hour
Graduate online tuition discount
Columbia College standard rate: $415 per credit hour
state of Missouri discount rate: $373.50 per credit hour
How to receive tuition reduction
- Apply online
- Current State of Missouri employees- after submitting the online application you must send an email from your company email account to email@example.com stating that you would like to receive the 10 percent tuition discount.
- State of Missouri retirees-after submitting the online application you must send an email with your MOSERS documentation attached to firstname.lastname@example.org stating that you would like to receive the 10 percent tuition discount.
