What sets Columbia College apart from other schools offering an online MBA program?
- We are accredited.
Columbia College began offering the MBA in 1997. Our online MBA program meets the same accreditation standards as our on-campus MBA. It's just the method of teaching and learning that's different.
Every school may say it is accredited, but not all accreditations are created equal.
Columbia College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association, a federally approved organization that accredits 8,500 public and private schools in 19 states.

- We accept nine transfer credit hours.
Columbia College admissions allows students to transfer nine of the 36 credit hours needed to graduate, which means you could earn an MBA degree online or through our on-campus program in less than one year.
- We are affordable.
Many schools charge $30,000 to $50,000 or more for their online MBA program. Even though many companies provide some tuition reimbursement, that's still a shocking number.
You'll be pleased to know Columbia College offers one of the most affordable accredited MBA online programs in the country, especially for a private institution. That's because we are a not-for-profit college and our stakeholders are our students. Our tuition for the online MBA is $290 per credit hour.
- We are flexible.
At Columbia College, you can complete your master business administration degree online or on campus at your own pace. Unlike some academic programs, you don't have to attend classes in lockstep with a student group or cohort.
Classes are just eight weeks. Sessions start in January, March, June, August and October. You can attend all five sessions a year or just one. It's up to you.
- We are a quality

U.S.News & World Report ranked Columbia College among “America's Best Colleges” in its category for the third consecutive year.
