Columbia College-Jefferson City brings judges to campus Thursday, April 13

WHO: Missouri judges will speak to Columbia College students about the judicial system, particularly selection and retention of judges.

The following legal professionals will be available:

JON EDWARD BEETEM: Elected circuit judge 2006 in Cole County, 19th Judicial Circuit Term expires Dec. 31, 2012

JUDGE RONALD R. HOLLINGER: During Governor Blunt's term, Holliger was one of three nominees submitted by the Appellate Judicial Commission to the Missouri Supreme Court Currently works in the Attorney General's Office as General Counsel

JUDGE MARY R. RUSSELL: Appointed to the Missouri Supreme Court in 2004 Retained by voters in Nov. 2006 Term expires Dec. 31, 2018.

WHAT: An information session where current and past judges will be available to answer questions about the judicial system.

WHEN: April 13, 2011; 8 - 9 p.m. with time for media interviews after panel discussion
