2008 Graduates of Online Campus

March, May or July Degree Date

All students who anticipate a degree completion date of March, May or July 2008 must file a Declaration of Candidacy for Degree form through the Online Campus. Students must call the Online Campus with payment in order to process the online Declaration for Candidacy of Degree form.

After the Evaluations Department has processed the Declaration, students will receive a degree pre-clearance checklist confirming degree requirement completion by the degree date indicated. The pre-clearance does not confirm ceremony participation.

Ceremony Participation

To participate in the Columbia, MO main campus commencement ceremony on May 10, 2008 students must:

• File a Declaration of Candidacy for Degree form.
• Inform the Online Campus of the intent to participate.
• Order a cap and gown through the Online Campus.

To participate in a ceremony at one of our campuses across the country students must:

• File a Declaration of Candidacy for Degree form through the Online Campus
• Inform the campus where they will participate of their intent.
• Order a cap and gown through the campus where they will participate.

Commencement Ceremony in Columbia, MO

There will be two commencement ceremonies.  The first ceremony will be for all Day program students, as well as all Masters and all Associate degree candidates and will be held on May 10, 2008 at 12 p.m. in the Southwell Gymnasium.

The second ceremony, for Bachelor degree candidates from the Adult Higher Education Division (Evening, Online and Nationwide Campuses), will be held on May 10, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. in the Southwell Gymnasium.

Announcements

Announcements can be ordered from the following website: http://www.herff-jones.com/college/. Students need to have their announcements ordered by March 14, 2008.
