Guidelines to Scheduling Lab Time:

  • All lab reservations should be made through the Technology Solutions Center. Email is the preferred method, and should contain the course title and section number, the time of class, the day(s) the class will be meeting, the number of students, the software required, and contact information for the instructor.

  • Lab requests should be made as early as possible, as all labs are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.

  • If a special software application is required for a class, the instructor must inform the lab supervisor two weeks prior to the date it is needed. Last minute requests will be attempted but cannot be guaranteed.

  • In case of malfunction, neither instructors nor students should attempt to open a computer case and work on the hardware. Please contact the Lab Assistant on duty or the Lab Coordinator.

Guidelines for Instructors:
  • Only ask for lab time that you will be using. It is unfair to reserve a lab that may or may not be used when many others may wish to use the lab at that time.

  • If you have reserved a lab then find you will not be needing it, please call the Technology Solutions Center to let them know so the time slot may be made available it for another class.

  • Please do not allow students to carry food or drink into the classroom.
