Bi-monthly maintenance

Every other month, Technology Services performs maintenance on all college systems.

Student: what to expect

During this entire window, the following systems and services will be unavailable: Colleague, WebFocus and related CougarTrack links such as register or drop courses, student planning, grade & transcript look-ups, password changes, CougarTrack activations, transcript requests, etc.

Technology Services will also be updating and restarting all other production servers Saturday to complete operating system patching as required. Throughout the day, the website and CougarTrack will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes to an hour. Online Course Access WILL BE available all day Saturday, with the exception of this brief 30-60 minute outage early Saturday morning.

Wireless connectivity on the Columbia, MO campus will be unavailable from 8 - 9 a.m. CT.

Faculty/staff: what to expect

Maintenance tasks include installing Ellucian delivered updates and College developed customizations for Colleague. During this entire window, the following systems and services will be unavailable: Colleague, WebFocus and related CougarTrack links such as register or drop courses, grade & transcript look-ups, password changes, CougarTrack activations, etc. Once this process has completed a notification will be sent that Colleague and dependent systems are available for access.

Technology Services will also be updating and restarting all other production servers to complete operating system patching as required. Throughout the day, each of our systems will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes to an hour while system specific servers are being updated. Note: Online Course Access will be available all day Saturday, with the exception of this brief outage.

  • Hyland OnBase Document Imaging
  • Exchange (CCIS) Email
  • Footprints
  • On-Campus printing
  • Scantron (course evaluations)
  • SharePoint
  • Sitecore
