Columbia College follows American Council on Education (ACE) credit recommendations for all evaluated Coast Guard military courses and occupations.
Columbia College requires the Joint Services Transcript (JST) for credit evaluation. The JST allows enlisted servicemembers who advance up to and beyond officer status to continue to benefit from updated transcripts, in addition to standardizing transcript quality across all branches.
Other military documents may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but the JST is the only guaranteed transcript for evaluation. Contact MSC@ccis.edu with questions.
Coast Guard Degree Pathways Program (CGDPP)
Columbia College is proud to be one of only seven institutions selected to participate in the Coast Guard Degree Pathways Program, which is designed to help Coast Guard students complete a college degree by utilizing the training and experience gained through their military service.
Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer Career Degree Program (CWOCDP)
The Chief Warrant Officer Career Degree Program is designed to enhance the officer's professional development as well as assist in the transition from the Coast Guard to academia.
Columbia College is a charter member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges Degree Network Systems (SOCDNS)
