Misty Haskamp, Director
Misty Haskamp has an extensive background in statistical analysis, reporting and process improvement. She began her professional experience as a research assistant with the Missouri Department of Conservation, where she conducted statistical analysis of attitude surveys using multiple model inference and logistic regression. Upon completion of her master’s degree, she became a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt for GE Capital. Since that time, she has held positions as a portfolio analyst for the GE Capital Risk department, Business Service Analyst for ACS, Inc. and Institutional Research analyst at Columbia College.
Haskamp received her Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Missouri State University-Springfield in 2002, graduating summa cum laude with honors. She received her Master of Arts in statistics from the University of Missouri in 2003.
Paul Gill, Reporting Analyst
Paul Gill has an extensive background in business, financial accounting and information technology. Prior to Columbia College, he was involved in the development and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise application software utilizing Sybase technologies.
Gill holds a bachelor's degree in law awarded by the University of Wales, Cardiff, U.K.
Shonda Ireland, Communications Specialist
Shonda Ireland came to the Institutional Research department in August 2011 after two and a half years in the Columbia College Enrollment Management department. In September 2012 she accepted the Communications Specialist position with responsibility for college surveys and assisting with state data requests. This role has expanded to include maintenance of the Institutional Research website as well as creation and maintenance of the college dashboards. Shonda has received certification as a LEAN yellow belt. Prior to Columbia College, she was employed at a law firm as a law clerk and, later, as a licensed attorney in general civil practice. Shonda's past roles have included training, purchasing and inventory, editing, legal research and grant writing.
Ireland graduated from the University of Missouri in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Sociology and received her Juris Doctorate in 2007, also from the university, as well as a MBA with a focus in Human Resource Management from Columbia College in July 2014.
Jiyoon Kim, Research Statistician
Jiyoon worked in a procurement team at STX, a shipbuilding company in South Korea. Her past role was to source foreign materials and manage purchase order data. While earning her master’s degree, she was involved in a project for the Human Dimensions of Natural Resource Department, entering data from 400 surveys using SPSS for statistical analysis and giving statistical advice.
Kim graduated from Kyungpook National University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in statistics and business administration. She received a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 2015.
Keith Lyles, Senior Reporting Analyst
Prior to coming to Columbia College, Keith Lyles was a case analyst for the state of Missouri where he compiled the information that was used the determine Missouri's accuracy rate for the Food Stamp Program.
Lyles received a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2009.
