April Longley, Director of Institutional Compliance, is the Ombudsman contact for Columbia College. Welcome to Institutional Compliance
Institutional Compliance is responsible for seeking authorizations or exemptions to offer degree programs via Online Education or at any of Columbia College’s Nationwide Campuses. Institutional Compliance processes a large number of external applications and reports to various regulatory agencies. Institutional Compliance also has oversight of HLC accreditation for the entire college.
Institutional Compliance works closely with Academic Affairs, Institutional Research and additional internal departments to ensure Columbia College is in compliance to operate and offer degree programs.
Institutional Compliance promotes a culture of ethics and integrity by maintaining academic compliance as it relates to state authorization and accreditation, and implementing processes of continuous improvement. Institutional Compliance provides a collaborative environment to support college-wide initiatives and assist internal departments.
