Position: Mathematics Tutor

Position involves providing academic assistance in Beginning Algebra through College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus I and II, and Statistics I. The tutor will explain concepts, assist with non-graded assignments, and share techniques to boost study and test taking skills.

Hours: 4:00 pm-8:00 pm two evenings per week

Position available: Week of August 25

Bachelor's degree in mathematics and/or mathematics education or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Excellent communication skills together with classroom experience teaching mathematics or prior experience tutoring college mathematics. Experience tutoring calculus and elementary statistics is preferred.

The offer of employment and assignment to duties is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check.
