Description:
Columbia College seeks a part-time Assistant to work with the women's softball team. Columbia College is a private, liberal arts and science school competing in the NAIA and American Midwest Conference. The position will begin August 1, 2014. The successful candidate will learn by assisting in all facets of the program. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: recruiting, daily practices, academic monitoring, videotaping, fund raising, home game management, travel, and compliance. Candidates must have the highest ethical standards with regard to NAIA and Columbia College rules and regulations.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include: an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution; valid US driver's license; playing and/or coaching softball experience; and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).

The offer of employment and assignment to duties is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check. The information may include, but is not limited to, academic, residential, achievement, performance, attendance, disciplinary, employment history, credit history, driving history, and criminal history of public record.
