Columbia College Division of Adult Higher Education, NAS Jacksonville campus, seeks a Computer Support Technician. This is a part time position with duties including but not limited to: installation and maintenance of personal and lab computers, application and operating system software and peripherals. Applicant should be able to maintain or assist in the maintenance of local area networks. Must adhere to standards put forth by main campus technicians and analysts. Basic troubleshooting of computer problems and subsequent repair are an important part of this position.

This is a part time position up to 2 hours per week.

Minimum qualifications include knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer architecture, including networking and wiring, and formal coursework in computer information systems.

Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certification course work from an accredited college with major course work in information systems, computer science, business administration or a closely related field.

The information may include, but is not limited to, academic, residential, achievement, performance, attendance, disciplinary, employment history, credit history, driving history, and criminal history of public record.
