Columbia College-Denver seeks an adjunct Computer Information Systems instructor to teach one or more of the following classes at its Denver campus:
CISS 350 - Advanced Algorithms and Data Structures
CISS 360 - Computer Systems and Assembly Language
Candidate should have a combination of practical experience and education in one or more of the aforementioned course subject areas. Candidate must possess a Master's degree in computer science or related field or demonstrate comprehensive core and coursework in the teaching area. Required knowledge level for CISS 350: advanced concepts of data, storage, organization, and retrieval, multiple-linked lists, balanced threes, object-oriented program, and searching and sorting. Required knowledge for CISS 360: data representation, computer arithmetic, Boolean algebra, SSI Logic design, micro-operations, assemblers and assembly language process. A candidate with practical experience, a different Master's degree and professional certification appropriate to the course(s) to be taught will also be considered.
