The Business Administration Department at Columbia College invites applications for adjunct instructors in accounting for the Spring Semester, beginning January 2014. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more of the following courses: Intermediate Accounting II (MWF 2:00-2:50 p.m., 15 week semester.), Accounting Information Systems (MWF 1:00-1:50 p.m., 15 week semester), and Advanced Financial Accounting (MW 5:15-7:30 p.m., 8 week session in MBA program). Full-time teaching in accounting may also be available during the 2014 Fall Semester.
Applicants must have a master's degree in accounting or business administration and be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Preferred qualifications include prior college teaching, business experience, and a history of working with diverse populations.
