Columbia College's Department of Institutional Research seeks an Assistant Analyst. This is an entry level position. By creating reports, the Assistant Analyst supports a broad range of Columbia College data needs, originating both internally and externally. Specifically, the Assistant Analyst will extract, organize, verify, summarize, and interpret data using WebFOCUS. Candidates for this position must have education on database programming language(s). The successful candidate is self-directed and can deal well with rapidly changing deadlines. There is a minimal travel requirement once a year for professional development.
Required qualifications include: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field. Candidate must work effectively both independently and as a member of a team. Experience creating complex reports utilizing software such as WebFOCUS, Business Objects, Cognos, Access or similar application is a plus.
