It's payback time for recent college graduates
Flexible options help graduates repay education debt

INDIANAPOLIS - Many members of the collegiate Class of 2000 soon will be making the first payments on their student loans. USA Funds®, the nation's largest student loan guarantor, reports that recent graduates can choose from among several flexible payment options to help them manage their college debt.
Student loan borrowers typically enjoy a six-month grace period following graduation. No student loan payments are required during this period. The grace period ends soon for many former students who graduated from college during the spring. Nationwide, approximately 2.2 million former students begin paying back their student loans each year.
