Waive coverage Enroll in coverage
Columbia College is offering an affordable and comprehensive health care plan for our students. More information will be available in Spring 2019.
Students who are U.S. citizens or who have health insurance coverage through another entity (parents, spouse, etc.) will not be required to buy the College-sponsored plan so long as they proof of coverage. International students can review the international student health policy.
To show proof, students will need to complete the online form providing proof of health insurance coverage by June 30, 2019. Each year, students will be required to provide proof of insurance.
Student accounts will automatically be billed for the cost of insurance at the time of course registration. Once a student provides proof of ACA compliant health insurance, the charges will be removed.
If students cannot provide proof by the deadline date, they will automatically be enrolled and billed. There will be no refunds given after the deadline date.
