Student Affairs Night of Recognition

Every year the Student Affairs staff likes to take the opportunity to recognize student leaders on the Columbia College campus. It is the students and organizations that contribute so much to the vibrancy of this campus and they deserve to be recognized.

Nominations will be available in 2019!

Registered student organization awards

The Organization of the Year Award recognizes a student organization that has excelled through membership, recruitment, leadership development, participation in programming and has made a consistent contribution to student life at Columbia College.

The Advisor of the Year Award is awarded to an advisor who demonstrates outstanding commitment and dedication to advising their student group.

Individual awards

The Faye Burchard Vibrancy Award is presented to a student who embodies the core values of Columbia College and is an ardent supporter and cheerleader for the institution.

The Servant Leadership Award honors a student who is devoted to improving the community they live in by volunteering their time generously to a cause or group.

The Emerging Leader Award recognizes a student who is an up-and-coming leader on campus as demonstrated through their scholarship, leadership, involvement, and service at Columbia College.

Group awards

The Program/Event of the Year Award recognizes a group of students who developed and sponsored a program or an event that has enriched the academic and/or co-curricular lives of Columbia College students.

The Service Project of the Year Award honors the commitment of an organization or group of students who worked together to provide services to their community.
