Kate Denehy

Seabrook Center Coordinator

Denehy earned a bachelor's degree in English and anthropology from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in English from the University of Missouri. She has taught English composition and creative writing at the college level and English as a Second Language for Columbia Public Schools.

Tom Stearns

Tutoring Services Coordinator and Writing Specialist

Tom earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Prior to coming to Columbia College in 2015, he worked in writing centers at universities in the United States and South Korea, during which time he also taught courses in ESL, First-Year Composition, and Creative Writing.
