Computer Information Systems

This C++ tutorial contains short lessons and explanations on subject matter covered in Introduction to Programming and Advanced Programming. It also contains more advanced material, useful for graphics, game design, common design patterns and other important topics.

W3Schools is a website with helpful tutorials for Web development.

OODesign.com gives brief explanations and some examples of most of the design patterns mentioned in the book, "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software," one of the most widely recognized books in the programming world.  Learning these design patters will make enormous and seemingly impossible tasks manageable.

Physics

The Physics Classroom has many animations and explanations of basic physics concepts as well as a tutorial section and practice problems with answers.

MIT Video Lectures feature videos of algebra-based physics lectures given at MIT in 1999. The videos give students a chance to see a topic expained in a way that may be different from the way it is explained by their current professor or text.
